I received a tiny sample of this as a summer magazine gift (I feel like it might have been from Red…), along with a moisturiser and lipbalm. I’ve used it on a few weekend trips now as it’s the perfect size to pop in a bag and I think I’ve fallen in love.
I haven’t tried anything from Organic Pharmacy before (I know their Carrot Butter Cleanser is a bit of a cult classic), I don’t know too much about the brand and so I didn’t know what to expect. The texture of this product is a little bit balm-like to start with rather than a more traditional gel feeling, and you really only need a tiny bit (from my sample tube I think I still have another few weekends away left at least). It dries out on the skin quite quickly and once removed with a flannel skin feels so, so clean and soft and has a lovely rose scent. I really can’t think of another cleanser that leaves my skin feeling quite so strokable as this does, which makes it feel as if everything you use after it is working more efficiently. I’ve been using it as a second cleanse in the evening (after my Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel which removes all traces of makeup), and also in the morning to give myself a lovely fresh start to the day.
The full-size bottle is Ā£46 (why did I have to fall for such an expensive product?!) but it’s something that I think will last for ages so I might just be making the investment for payday next week as I’m almost out of my current Radical Hydrating Cleanser (though I love that too!).
Love the sound of this, and have been meaning to try something from organic pharmacy for a while! Lovely blog too, have followed š x
