I got a mini size of this in my M&S advent calendar and thought that I may as well give it a go, but didn’t expect that my hair would get on with it at all. I have the sort of hair that can’t really deal with any type of oil or serum without going flat and greasy so I just presumed this would be the same.
As you may be able to tell from the fact that I’m now in possession of a full size version, I was wrong! This is super light and super effective – two drops before blow drying leaves my hair soft and shiny, enhances tones within my colour and stands up to the frizz-risking challenge of the Northern Line at rush hour when it’s raining even without hairspray to finish. It has a lovely fresh scent and is a total pleasure to use. I wouldn’t say it is particularly volumising but it leaves enough volume for me to be happy with so is overall a win.
Percy & Reed No Oil Oil is £14 – currently out of stock at M&S (so far 100% record of not being able to repurchase what I liked from the calendar!) but available at Space NK.
Ooh I’ll have to try it!
Have you tried the Alterna Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist? I use dry oil all the time but it can make my hair flat if it’s too heavy. The Bamboo seems to fix that and add so much volume; I’d definitely try it if you have flat hair issues?
